Destination Colfax is a short documentary film featuring the unique and storied history of travel, transit and life along the iconic East Colfax avenue. I’m really proud and honored to have gotten the chance to work on this project!

Destination Colfax was produced by Ashley L. Bushey with Peak Consulting Group LLC and developed with the support of the City and County of Denver, the City of Aurora Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Regional Transit District (RTD), the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, the City of Aurora Historic Preservation Program, Colorado Preservation, Inc. (CPI), the Colorado State Historic Preservation Office, Denver Landmark Preservation and Historic Denver, Inc.

The film premiered at the Aurora Fox Arts Center on May 1, 2026 and has subsequently aired live on Aurora TV. It is now available to stream for free.
